 a jabot (ruffled neckpiece) is worn around the neck. This wonderful period piece is perfect for finishing the complete look of your french aristocrat set.   Fitted around the neck with a button back.

These coats do not fit the same as clothing today, they are more fitted and meant to be open in the front.  If you are unsure of what size to order, we recommend that to assure a proper fit you order a toile coat.  Toile's are  mock ups of garments that enable us to make personalized adjustments before the construction process is begun.  We make your toile from cotton muslin and send it to you with fitting instructions.  Because everyone is different this is the best method to insure the best possible fit which is critical because our items are custom made at the time of order and non returnable.  Toile prices depend on what garment is being fitted.
